Inspired by the podcast Darencademy, I would like to write down key points to summarize a book, which should be more approachable to me compared to writing an excerpt. There are 3 key points:
- What problems does it resolve?
- What are the highlights or exceptional ideas?
- What inspirations do I get?
Name: The New Coffeehouse Investor: How To Build Wealth, Ignore Wall Street, And Get On Your Life
Author: Bill Schultheis
Publication Year: 2009

Solutions: How to maintain the same life quality as now after retirement?
Highlights:
Highlights:
a. Diversify your financial portfolio. Avoid putting all your eggs in a single stock or a single industry.
b. Don't try to beat the market. 90% of experts haven't been able to do that.
c. Make your savings plan, but don't lead a miserable life today in order to retire at ease tomorrow.
Inspirations: The calculation sheet for retirement savings is quite practical, though the original one was kind of incomprehensible. I've made some adjustments as shown above.
As a whole, this is an entry-level book for long-term financial investment. Some of the concepts may be rather abrupt for people who just learned for the first time, but they can be made up by reading other books.
