Name: From Here to Financial Happiness
Author: Jonathan Clements
Publication Year: 2020

Solutions: Establish financial confidence through day-to-day thinking exercises.
Highlights:
a. Read a short article every day for 11 weeks (77 days). The content includes calculating life expenses and debts, choosing the right tools for financial management, controlling what you purchase, buying the right insurances, setting long-term goals, saving on taxes (for the USA), and planning wills and estate.
b. Financial freedom is not a synonym for the capability of buying everything we want. Instead, it means we have everything we need.
Inspirations: The author suggests that we not only prepare enough amount of savings for retirement but also make sure we have:
1. Medical insurance
2. An emergency fund (that you can live with it for 3~6 months)
3. Disability insurance (when your deposit is under 1M USD, which I think is roughly equivalent to 10M TWD in Taiwan)
4. Life insurance (when your deposit is under 1M USD and your family members rely on you)

I picked the book because my favorite finance blogger Greenhorn wrote the foreword. It's pity that the content of this book is rather short and simple. You can easily finish the book by spending half of the morning.
